Biography

Born in Bridgend, Wales, Martyn received his Diploma in Architecture from the Bartlett School of Architecture in London, and his BSc Hons in Architecture from Bath University. His student work has been published and exhibited internationally.

From 2004 until 2011 Martyn worked for Joel Sanders Architect in New York City, becoming an associate in 2009. During this time Martyn led the design and construction of a diverse and wide range
of award-winning projects including Yale University Art Gallery, Offices at 195 Broadway, the Gering Lopez Art Gallery, and Central Park West residences. He served as the project architect for multiple GSA (General Services Administration) projects, and was responsible for office management and administration. Many projects are featured in international publications including The New York Times, Architectural Digest, Architectural Record and Interior Design.
Prior to joining Joel Sanders Architect, Martyn worked at Foster and Partners in London.

Martyn will be migrating to Australia in early 2012, and this website provides a selection from his architectural portfolio.
